This was the first of many Apple paintings I created, mostly because I love painting round objects, reflections, and food!  It was the beginning of a concept for a series of everyday objects that filled the entirety of the canvas without showing the edges or entirety of the item. The vibrant reds and chartreuses and the curvilinear lines combine to create a juicy and crispy deliciousness. The original sold at the Venice Artwalk Silent Auction and I was told there was a bit of a bidding frenzy at the closing bell!
