I have always been interested in food and cooking, and as a child loved to look at my mother’s cookbooks. On the inner sleeve of one cookbook was a photo of these irresistible candies. So I took that image and imagined a box of chocolates that resembled a building - sort of a chocolate factory. It was an early foray into surrealism and made for a very large box of chocolates.
