POST-ITS
I love the use of a post-it as a tool for creating interest, texture, and a sense of movement in this series. Other subtle interpretations could be windy conditions in the eyes of the viewer, or the idea of the day peeling away. It also provides a structure I am fond of using – a repetitive use of the grid in my work. Any way you look at it, it is a whimsical apparatus for action in paintings.
